摘  要

　　　人物传记是通过对典型人物的生平、生活、精神等领域进行系统描述、介绍的一种文学作品形式。作品要求“真、信、活”，以达到对人物特征和深层精神的表达和反映。人物传记是后人或人物资料的有效记录形式，对历史和时代的变迁等方面的研究具有重要意义。近年来广东力倡建设文化大省，发展文化产业，所以对广东文化名人的编译是有必要的，这样可以充分挖掘广东省内各个地区的文化名人，让我们更加深入地认识和体会广东文化成就和精髓，并以这些文化名人为榜样，不断地提升自己，努力为广东的发展做出自己的贡献。

　　　笔者对吕文成进行人物传记的编辑，包括人物生平、对广东音乐文化贡献、他人对其的评价以及总体的评论，并着手翻译编辑的材料。笔者在翻译的过程中积极参考各种翻译方法教程以及翻译教材，学习并使用了以下的几种翻译方法：词义选择、增译法、替代法、词类转换、意译法、直译法以及音译法。并列举和分析了文中的翻译例句，进一步探讨了人物传记这一类文体的翻译手法，最后谈及翻译过程中遇到的问题和相应的解决方法。

Abstract

　　　Biography is a kind of literature form which systematically describes and introduces the typical characters from some aspects, such as lifetime, life, spirit. It should be “true, faithful, vivid” so that it can present and reflect the features and spirit in deep layer of the characters. Biography is a valid record form of the later generations or the character data, which is of great significance for the study of history and the changes of the times. In particular, the biographies of Guangdong cultural celebrities are very important. In recent years, it is advocated to build Guangdong province to be a civilized province. Cultural industries in Guangdong have been developing very rapidly. Therefore, it is very necessary to edit and translate the biographies of Guangdong cultural celebrities. Whereby, more cultural celebrities in all the districts of Guangdong province will be discovered more completely. And thus we can also know and experience more about the cultural achievement and essence of Guangdong culture. Furthermore, we can also set the cultural celebrities as models and continue to upgrade ourselves constantly to make our own contribution to the development of Guangdong. 

　　　Firstly, the biography of Lv Wencheng is edited, including his lifetime, his contribution to Guangdong music, people’s assessment to him and overall evaluation. And the biography is being translated. During the process of translating, the paper refers to a variety of the courses in translation methods and the translation textbooks to learn and apply the following several translation methods, such as choice of word meaning, amplification, substitution, parts of speech conversion，liberal translation, literal translation and transliteration. Finally, the paper makes a list of and analyzes a few examples of the translation practice, exploring the typical translating techniques of the biography, and talking about the problems encountered in the process of translation and the corresponding solution.
