摘要：英语有一句谚语："Education must be fun."（教育必须是有趣的。）兴趣是学好英语的关键，激发学生的兴趣是教师在小学英语阶段要完成的重要任务之一。因此，游戏成为小学英语教学中一种常见的手段，将游戏活动运用在教学的各个环节里，游戏活动与教学两者有机地交融在一起，能科学地提升学生的各项能力，且符合小学阶段学生的身心发展特点。在现实的教学中，教师在设计和运用游戏时，还存在着一些误区和限制，这些误区和限制会在一定程度上对教学效果产生负面的影响。因此对游戏教学本身和它所存在的问题进行分析和讨论具有一定的现实意义。 

    本文尝试对小学英语游戏教学实践进行描述，试图分析游戏教学在小学英语教学中的重要地位以及运用过程中所受的限制及解决办法。

Abstract："Education must be fun" is an English proverb which means interest is the key to learning English. It is one of the important tasks for English teachers to stimulate interest of pupils in primary schools. Therefore, the play instruction became a common mean in Primary School English Teaching. In accordance with the characteristics of the discipline of pupils’ body and mental development , the application of game-like activity will greatly stimulate the motivation among schoolchildren, enhance a variety of their abilities, and therefore bring about a more desirable result. However, there are still some misunderstandings and limitations, which will to some extent adversely affect teaching effects. Therefore, due attention should be paid to the play instruction itself and the existing problems.

　　　Consequently, this article will address the teaching practice of play instruction in primary school English teaching ,and try to analyze the important role of play instruction and related solutions to the problems ever occurred in the process of practice.

　　　本文的研究，旨在突出游戏在小学英语课堂中的重要地位，并改善游戏在实际教学运用中的效果。为达至此目的，本论文拟重点考察以下四方面的内容：

　　　第一部分讨论小学英语课堂游戏的概述。

　　　通过文献分析和自身学习经验总结，对小学英语课堂游戏的概念和特征进行分析和描述，并列举如今在课堂中出镜率最高的若干游戏种类。

　　　第二部分通过对案例的分析讨论课堂游戏所存在的问题。

　　　结合见实习的所观察到的游戏在课堂中低效的现象，列举并通过实例加以分析。 

　　　第三部分讨论小学英语课堂游戏教学低效的原因。

　　　结合大量的课堂观察和访谈分析小学英语课堂教学低效的原因，主要从教师的方面和客观的因素两方面分析。

　　　第四部分提出实施的建议

　　　总结上述研究，并对如何更好地应用课堂游戏提出建议，以期获得更好的实施效果。
