This unit is from Junior Middle School English Textbook published by the People’s Education Press. The topic about this unit is let students learn how to ask people where things are. In this unit student need to grasp the sentence patterns like “where is my...? It is in/on/under/behind/next to the bed.” The specific content of this unit is based on the real situation, which is closely related to students’ life, easy for students’ understanding and can stimulate students’ interest in learning. This unit pay close attention to words about stationery, furniture and preposition of locality. The difficulties in this unit are the use of “where...” and other sentences.

Most of the students in this school have a good foundation in English, but there are still a few students who have a weak foundation in English. Their learning condition is good, most of the students can carefully listen to the teacher and actively answer the teacher’s questions.
