一、教材内容分析
This unit is from the book Compulsory education textbooks English subjects grade 8 Volume 2 published by People’s Education Press. This unit takes British and American literature and music as the topic. Its purpose is not only to let students understand the names, contents and some relating learning, but also to stimulate students' interest in English language and culture through listening, speaking, reading and writing activities related to literary works, to learn how to discuss and exchange literary works with others, to express their own views and opinions, so as to improve their self-confidence, their literary accomplishment and humanistic accomplishment.
