Abstract:With the rapid development of the global economy, the third industry has being developed in China. Tourism, as a thriving industry, is developing fast. So, it is important to develop each large scenic spot. Because the numbers of travellers are increasing, each large scenic spot needs to show its own specialty, especially the oriental features. It is successful if the tourists can remember the names of scenic spots after they visit them. This essay mainly contrasts and researches on many chief scenic spots, such as: the Four Famous Landscape Gardens in China, Eight Scenic Spots of Yuanjing, and Ten Scenic Spots of the West Lake. It generalizes the methods and theories of translating scenic spots. Meanwhile, this essay emphasizes how to choose proper methods in the process of translation. 中文摘要:随着经济全球化的进一步加速,我国正大力进行社会主义建设,大力发展第三产业。旅游业作为一项新兴的产业正在迅猛发展,而发展旅游业的重中之重又是各大景点的建设。随着来华旅游人数的不断增多,各大景点想方设法地来展现各自的地方特色,尤其是带有东方特点的景区更是被装饰的美轮美奂。景点建设固然重要,但起画龙点睛的还是在景点的名称上,能让人过目不忘的景点名称才是最好的,也是最成功的。本论文主要是通过对中国各省主要景点、中国四大名园、燕京八景、西湖十景等著名景点的对比、研究,总结出翻译景点名称的方法和理论,并根据不同景点的文化背景、传说以及人们的习惯性称呼来选择译法。同时,强调在翻译过程中的选词、选形、选音和选意等问题。 关键词:翻译;直译;意译;音译;解释性翻译 |
