Abstract: With the development of the society, English has been used more and more widely and it has become more and more important. As a result of that, the teaching aim of English has turned from exam-oriented education to practical application education, and teachers in the junior middle school pay less attention to the grammar teaching. However, in the remote rural area, the grammar teaching is still quite important and the current situation of the grammar teaching and learning is not so good. In order to relieve these problems, strengthen the interest of English grammar in the junior middle school, improve the grammar teaching,arouse the students’ learning interest, help the students to build the confidence of learning English, and help the grammar teaching of the remote rural areas has a better development, the thesis writing has done some field investigation, which is based on some practical fun teaching methods have been found, to learn the current situation of the grammar teaching in the remote rural areas, and hope these methods can be of help to the grammar teaching in the junior middle school of the remote rural areas.
