Abstract:This paper base on Job in Holy Bible. It analyses Job’s attitude towards suffering and belief and analyses its influence to the later literary works and human. I choose three famous literary works--Oliver Twist, Hamlet and Jane Eyre and analyse the protagonists’suffering and belief, comparing their attitudes towards suffering and belief with Job’s.Based on researchers from home and abroad about this topic, I analyse deeply to show different people’s different attitudes towards suffering and belief. The results indicate that suffering and belief are very important factors in the Holy Bible and Job’s attitude towards suffering and belief influences many people in the world and when they meet some trouble, they have positive energy to keep on going. Job also has deep influence on the later literary works and on people’s attitudes towards suffering and belief. This paper aims to analyse people’s attitudes towards suffering and belief by analysing Job and encourage people to hold on their belief, to treat their suffering with positive attitudes and to make their efforts to get the good results.
