摘要：在迎接数码摄影时代来临之际，率先使用电脑与便捷的数码技术手段手段进行创作的佩德罗梅耶尔将旧照片处理以后重新纳入反刍思考的再创作，再造出一种他名之为“新纪实意识”的多影像合成摄影作品，并且将创作这种作品的过程称为“发现和制作影像”。这种通过摄影术专长的特技效果所虚构出来的模拟真实，造成了十足超现实的幻象真实，而这种真实实质上属于艺术的真实，也即是通过艺术化的虚构所揭示的事物内在联系的超现实真实，从而增加作品的视觉艺术感染力。
