【摘要】旅游业作为一个新兴产业在推动区域经济发展中具有重要的作用。江阴是一个以工业发展为主导的县级市，伴随着经济发展环境的变化，优化升级产业结构、积极发展新兴第三产业是确保江阴市经济社会可持续发展的重要内容，其中积极发展旅游产业是重要选择。长期以来，江阴市旅游产业发展相对薄弱，旅游资源开发利用程度不高，这也为其今后旅游业的发展带来了较大潜力。本文以对江阴市的调查研究为依据，客观分析了江阴市旅游资源的禀赋和开发利用的状况，总结经验，发现问题，提出解决问题的思路，为江阴市旅游业的发展提供决策与参考依据。

【Abstract】: As a new industry ,Tourism has the vital role in promoting regional economic development. Jiangyin is an county-level city with the industrial development mainly. Due to the changes of the economic development environment,  To ensure sustainable economic and social development in Jiangyin, The optimization and upgrading of industrial structure , the positive development of the tertiary industry emerging are the important content in which actively develop the tourism industry is an important choice. Over the years, the development of tourism industry in Jiangyin, is relatively weak.Besides,Tourism resource development and utilization rate is not high which also shows tourism industry have a greater potential in Jiangyin. This article is based on research in Jiangyin , Then analysis  the status of endowment and exploitation of tourism resources objectively to Summing up experiences and identify problems. At last we proposed solutions to those problems, Provide decision-making and the reference for the development of the tourism industry in Jiangyin.
