中文摘要:课外阅读是在课堂教学之外、阅读教材之外的材料的活动,以学生自主阅读为主。初中是学生养成良好课外阅读习惯的重要阶段,然而在传统的教学过程中,鲜有初中英语教师对学生课外英语阅读做实质性的要求,许多初中生也很少有机会参加课外阅读活动。尽管目前初中英语教师已经逐渐认识到初中课外阅读的重要性,但英语课外阅读活动在课外阅读的重要性的认识、阅读材料的选择、阅读量、阅读技巧、学生课外阅读活动参与度、教师的参与程度和指导方式等方面存在诸多问题。对此,学生应掌握阅读所需的英语知识和阅读技巧,提高自主阅读能力,积极参加课外阅读活动;教师应以身作则,积极进行课外阅读,同时合理分配时间以安排学生的课外阅读活动,加强监督及理论指导和开展丰富多彩的英语课外阅读活动;家长也应重视学生课外阅读。改善初中生课外英语阅读现状,需教师、学生和家长三方配合,树立正确的课外阅读观念,共同营造良好的阅读环境。 关键词:初中生;初中英语;课外阅读;调查
