Abstract:Just as English grammar can not be ignored in English learning, English vocabulary teaching plays an important role in English learning. If you don not use any methods and techniques, you will find that remembering so many words and phrases is boring and annoying. The theory of semantic field provides a systematic theoretical basis for vocabulary teaching. It uses inductive classification and rich associations to establish a variety of connections between words and words, making them less boring and monotonous to memorize. This paper is aimed at some mistakes that Chinese students often make in English vocabulary learning, helping them to estabish some useful vocabulary learning methods and enhance their ability of vocabulary analyze, thus improving their ability to use language and communication skills, so that they can no longer be suffered by the torture of vocabulary learning.
