Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the differences between Chinese culture and Western culture from different aspects, including different modes of thinking, life style and taboos, and analyze the effects to the expressions on the same advertisement from the view of language habits, traditions and consumer psychology, and based on which the author proposes some ways to deal with the cultural differences when translating the same advertisement.
