Abstract: In recent years, with the in-depth research on learners’ individual differences, the influence of gender difference on foreign language learning has become the point of second language acquisition (SLA) research. This study aims to investigate the influence of the gender difference on Chinese middle-school students’ English vocabulary acquisition by using Quantitative Research Method. To use a questionnaire to collect data, subjects will be investigated from the following four aspects: Cognitive strategy, Control strategy, Communication strategy and Resource strategy. The purpose is to provide reference and help for the majority of middle school students in China in English vocabulary acquisition.
