中文摘要：近年来，中国的留学生教育受到许多关注。国内外学者已经做了许多研究，然而，从大众传媒角度来考察的研究则相对较少。因此，本研究结合定量和定性分析，对《中国日报》中关于中国留学生教育的报道进行分析。本研究以标题中的关键词为依据，将178篇文章按照主题分类，并对内容进行具体分析。结果发现，《中国日报》所报道的主题主要包括文化，招生，留学生适应问题等。这些主题顺应了中国留学教育的发展，大多都呈现积极报道。具体而言，这些报道以主动型动词，具体数据和个例，向读者展示了留学生对中国文化的理解，中国留学教育的国际认同，来华留学生的经历与感受，以及中国留学教育的质量。同时研究也发现，《中国日报》较多关注于留学生的经历，而相对忽视了中国留学教育的质量问题。文末将会呈现笔者所提意见以及本文的不足之处。
