摘要

　　　从1996年北京第一家民间博物馆成立至今，民间博物馆的热潮已走过了十余个年头，但纵观其发展状况并不理想，艰难生存的现状让人们对这个新生事物的脆弱生命力感到唏嘘不已。本文通过所收集的文献、数据资料，亲自考察北京中国紫檀博物馆，总结出民间博物馆发展之困的原因，并从民间博物馆自身和国家政策两方面提出了若干条建议，以期待民间博物馆早日告别今天的尴尬局面，从而使其公益性发扬光大，成为我国文化事业得以繁荣的耀眼亮点。

Abstract

　　　It has been ten years for folk museum being popular since the first museum was established in Beijing in 1996. However, considering its development generally, it was not that good as expect. The difficulties in existing have made people keep sighing for the vitality of this new emerging museum. Through the documents and data, as well as the description of author’s personal experience visiting China Red Sandalwood Museum, this essay summarizes the reasons why folk museum is having difficulties in further development. Furthermore, considering the possible way out, this essay will also come up with some suggestions both for the government policy and folk museums themselves, hoping to get rid of the folk museums’ present awkward situation, and to carry forward its public-welfare developing to an outstanding highlight in China’s prosperous culture industry.
