中文摘要:阅读能力是学生英语学习的重要技能。虽然在小学阶段老师更加注重英语口语和英语学习兴趣的培养,但英语阅读能力的培养也越来越受关注。新课标对小学英语阅读明确提出了要求:能读懂简单的故事和小短文,并养成按意群阅读的好习惯。然而,在实际的英语教学当中,还存在着许多问题:教师对阅读教学认识不足,阅读资源的缺乏以及有效课外指导的缺失等等。正是因为这些问题的存在,影响着当今小学英语的发展。

本文由五个部分组成。第一部分介绍了本文的研究背景、目的、意义和结构。第二部分是相关文献综述。第三部分对广州市炭步镇中心小学英语阅读现状进行了调查。第四部分分析了学生英语阅读存在的问题和原因。第五部分为总结,并对培养学生的阅读能力和提高高中英语教师的阅读教学能力提出了一些建议。
