中文摘要:在素质教育背景下,批判性思维的培养日益受到关注。《英语课程标准》中明确提出,教师要培养学生用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力以及批判性思维能力。这强调了英语课程的人文性,也为培养学生批判性思维能力提供了有力的理论支持。阅读课程是培养学生阅读技能及综合语言运用能力的课程,也是培养其思维方法与能力的课程。目前初中学生很难用理性思维去审视阅读材料,整体的批判性思维能力处于中等水平且有较大发展空间。因此英语教师有必要注意将批判性思维的培养渗透入英语阅读课堂教学。本文通过以问卷调查、教师访谈等形式,旨在了解初中生英语阅读中批判性思维能力水平,分析初中英语阅读教学中对学生批判性思维的培养现状,在此基础上提出相应培养批判性思维的英语阅读教学策略,从而提高学生的阅读能力及初中英语阅读教学质量。
