中文摘要:肢体语言应该在课堂上广泛的使用,在英语教学中,它有着非常重要的作用。肢体语言可以给学生留下深刻的印象,而且它还可以对我们使用的有声语言进行补充说明。一方面,肢体语言是只需要我们用身体姿势来进行交流,这能引起学生的英语学习兴趣。当我们在讲述一些比较难以精确阐述的语言概念时,肢体语言可以很好的帮助我们把这种枯燥无味的学习变得生动有趣;另一方面,肢体语言的运用帮助了教师更好的了解学生的思想和行为。因此,教师可以注重在平时的教学中观察学生的肢体语言并试着理解他们的肢体语言。除此之外,肢体语言还可以提高学生的听、说、读、写的能力。在这个过程中,师生之间会得到较好的交流。在我们平时的英语课堂上,我们作为教师应该先要学会做学生的朋友,而肢体语言正是一种能够慢慢缩小教师和学生之间的差距的方式。所以我们要注意在平时上课时,不能只注重口头语言的教学却忽视肢体语言在课堂中的运用,因为它是我们和他人交流然后表达自己观点的很好的工具。在英语教学中使用肢体语言会帮助教师很容易达到更高的教学目标并且收到良好的教学效果。因此,在英语教学中,教师应更重视肢体语言的实用性并能合理地应用它。

Abstract:Body language should be widely used in English teaching. It plays an important role in English teaching because it can make a forceful impression on students and it can be complementary to verbal language. On the one hand, it can stimulate students’ interest in English learning, and it is an instrument for communication which just needs some gestures to take part in. When we want to explain some subtle concepts, body language is helpful and it can make this boring part become interesting. On the other hand, it can help teachers understand students better. Besides these, students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing will be improved because of the use of body language. In nowaday teaching, teachers should be students’ friends firstly. When teachers and students become friends, the gap between them can be narrowed. The application of body language can help teachers achieve higher teaching aims and get a good teaching effect because body language is a good tool to communicate with students and express our own views. Therefore, teachers should pay more attention to the use of body language and use it reasonably.
