Abstract: This study aims to make a contrastive analysis of different aspects of body language in intercultural communication and reveal the specific meaning under different cultural background. Meanwhile, some tips in intercultural communication are supplied with the expectation of reducing cultural conflicts and misunderstandings to help foreign language learners not only to eliminate the interference of cultural factors of body language in communication but also to improve one’s intercultural communication ability.
