[Abstract] Period of high school can shape the characters of students, but due to our country the exam-oriented education policy, students tend to develop the "silence" type of character of "talk less, listen more and think more". In this article, through the analysis of the interactive teaching, is to understand the concept of interactive teaching, theoretical basis, the origins and development of its application in the high school oral English teaching method, help students to improve the enthusiasm of learning oral English, so that more English teachers can apply to English teaching to further advocate interactive teaching method widely used in the high school oral English teaching. Through the questionnaire of 58 high school students of grade two, the result shows: "interactive" teaching method is a kind of comprehensive effective way to improve students oral English and learning ability. Therefore, interactive teaching type has a profound and significant influence on "silent" English learning for high school students. Finally, the conclusion part of this paper puts forward some enlightenment for English teaching.
