Abstract:With the rapid informatization and globalization of the world, people from different regions and cultural backgrounds communicate with each other more and more frequently. Based on summary of cross-cultural pragmatic failure theories, this paper analyses the manifestations of pragmatic failures mainly from three aspects: pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. And then it explores the causes of pragmatic failure and further puts forward measures to reduce the pragmatic failure. Finally, Suggestions have been given from the perspective of foreign language teaching and culture. Key words: Cross-cultural ;Pragmatic Failure;Chinese EFL Learners
