Abstract: In recent years, with the development of tourism in China , more and more tourism texts have been translated into English or Chinese .The accuracy and applicability become more and more important in Tourism translation,while the different cultures between Chinese and Western countries will also be reflected in the translation of tourism texts. Based on Vermeer’s Skopos theory and the Adaptation theory of Verschueren, the author explains the cultural differences between China and the West. He also works on the exploration of solutions with native culture tourism English translation of various strategies to dock the acceptability of the boost translation of tourism texts.Keywords: tourism English translation, cultural docking, the strategy to solve these problems
摘要:近年来,随着我国旅游事业的发展,越来越多的旅游资料被译成英文。旅游英语翻译的准确性及适用性变得越来越重要,而中西文化的差异必然要反映到旅游资料的翻译中。笔者根据汉斯·威米尔的翻译目的论,并从维尔索伦的顺应论角度看旅游英语的翻译,研究旅游英语翻译中的各种文化差异进而探讨解决旅游英语翻译与本土文化对接的各种策略,以此提高译文的可接受性。 关键词:旅游英语翻译,文化对接,解决策略
In recent years, China’s tourism market has been continually improved, and attracted more and more foreign visitors. Tourism translation is playing an increasingly important role in further promoting internationalization of China’s tourism. In recent years, the quality of tourism translation has been improved a lot: however, there are still many poor tourism translations. So, how to improve the quality of tourism should be correspondingly highlighted. Tourism translation includes the translation of tourist texts (written translation) and oral interpretation. The present thesis studies the cultural differences on tourism translation,analyzes the Hans • Vermeer teleology and put forward to the tourism translation and tourism translation teaching. |
