摘要：在我国，随着经济的迅速发展，英语学习在我们日常生活中占有非常重要的地位。任务型教学法以任务组织教学，在任务的履行过程中，以参与、体验、互动、交流、合作的学习方式，充分发挥学习者的自身认知能力。教师可以根据学生的认知规律和能力的发展，通过多种途径和方法，设置与学生生活紧密相关的任务。在这种环境下，任务型教学法能够充分融合在小学英语课堂中。因此，本文结合任务型教学法的理论基础和实践，系统的阐述了任务型教学法在小学英语课堂中的重要性。
