Abstract
Thomas Hardy' s novels often contain profound Christian ethics, and Tess of the D 'Urbervilles, as one of the most famous works of Hardy, has been filled with rich religious connotations. Christian culture has become an important expression of human culture, this cultural form of Western literature had a profound impact.
