Abstract: This thesis is an empirical study, aiming to investigate the current situation of English classroom anxiety in primary school. The study takes the students from grade four to grade six in a primary school in Zhenjiang. It has been found that the general tendency of students’ anxiety in primary school is the higher grade the students are in, the more language anxiety they may bear; English classroom anxiety does have differences between genders and boys have a higher anxiety than girls, but only test anxiety has a remarkable difference in genders; language anxiety and students’ English achievements have a negative correlation. Teachers should have an adequate acquaintance of students’ psychology in primary school and try to control it in a reasonable range so that it will be helpful for students’ learning and teachers’ teaching. 摘要:本文是对小学生英语课堂学习焦虑的现状分析, 通过对镇江市一小学四至六年级学生的问卷调查表明: 小学生的英语课堂焦虑等级的分布状况是年级越高,中高等级焦虑的学生相对就越多;小学生的英语课堂焦虑在性别上存在差异,男生焦虑比女生高,但只有考试焦虑的性别差异较显著;小学生的英语课堂焦虑与其英语学习成绩呈现显著的负相关. 教师要充分掌握小学生英语课堂焦虑的心理活动特点,并努力将其控制在合适的范围内,使其更好地为英语课堂教学服务。 关键词:英语课堂焦虑;年级差异;英语水平 |
