Abstract: In native English-speaking population, not many people use the dictionary to check pronunciation. But in non-English-speaking countries, voice annotation plays an important role in the dictionary. This paper makes a comparative and analysis of the different kinds of pronunciation labeling in several authority English dictionaries based on the theory and examples, hoping to provide a help for the dictionary users to clear up their misunderstanding of the English language voice annotation and better understand the voice modules when they use the dictionaries.

摘要：在英语为母语的国家中，不是每个人都用字典检查自己的发音，但在非英语为母语的国家中，音标在字典中起到非常重要的作用。本文在理论与例证的结合上对权威词典的各种语音标注的特点进行比较和分析，以期帮助词典运用者加深对英语语音标注的了解和在使用词典时对语音模块的理解。
