Abstract: Language abilities have long been considered the main factor that decides the success or failure of interpretation. It is hardly known ,however, that factors apart from language abilities are also crucial to the outcome of interpretation.  This thesis mainly focuses on the analysis of the influence of non-lingual factors on interpretation and the solutions to the negative effects of these factors.After the brief introduction of non-lingual factors, the thesis mainly analyzes the interpreter’s qualities as an internal factor and cultural differences as an external factor.Then it reaffirms the importance of these two aspects through the case study of Chang Lu’s interpretation at State Council’s Press Conference in 2012, and further suggests some solutions to deal with possible side effects of the non-lingual factors.

摘要：语言能力很长时间以来被认为是口译成功与否的主要决定因素。但鲜为人知的是，在语言能力之外的因素对于口译的效果也极为关键。本论文重点分析非语言因素对口译的影响及针对这些因素的负面效应的对策。在对非语言因素进行概括性介绍后，本文主要分析了作为内在因素的译者素质以及作为外在因素的文化差异。论文通过张璐在2012年国务院记者招待会口译的案例分析再次突出了译者素质和文化差异的重要性，并且提出针对非语言因素的解决方案。
