ABSTRACT:A good language test should provide an accurate measure of test-takers’ language abilities, so test designers or developers must minimize the influence of potentially intervening factors on test-takers’ performance in reading comprehension test. This study aims at investigating the effects of genre on reading comprehension test. Based on this purpose, this study tests for the response of subjects on the six types of genres mainly. The results of subjects’ reading performance are analyzed by using the SPSS11.5 software package (SPSS). Descriptive statistics and one- way ANOVA is used to test the study questions and hypotheses. The study results show that genres affect the test-taker’s performance on the reading comprehension test. Test-takers perform best in the narration, followed by the comment, then ordinary argumentation, the next one is description, the fifth is exposition and they perform worst in the news report test. 摘要:良好的语言测试应该能够准确的测量考生的语言能力,因此,阅读理解测试的设计者应尽量减少一些干扰因素对学生成绩的影响。这篇文章的目的是研究体裁对阅读理解测试的影响。基于这一目的,本研究对被测试者对这六种体裁的反应进行了测试。结果利用SPSS11.5统计软件包(SPSS)分析了受试者的阅读性能。描述性统计和方差分析被用来检测研究的问题和假说。研究结果表明,被测试者在阅读理解测试上的表现受体裁的影响。考生在叙事体裁上表现最好,其次是评论,然后是普通议论,接着描述,第五是说明体裁,他们表现最差的是新闻报道。 关键词:体裁;阅读理解;影响 |
