Abstract:In recent decades, studies of learning strategies have directed attention of scholars at home and abroad in the field of applied linguistics. A large number of studies on oral English learning strategies have been conducted in the domestic academic circle. However, most of the researchers selected college students as the research subject, and questionnaire investigation and Oxford’s Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) were adopted as the main research methods. This study aims to investigate the existing situation of the use of oral English learning strategies used by high school students, and the training effects of oral English learning strategies on them. Through analyzing the results of the questionnaire investigation and the two tests which were finished by high school students before and after the experimental teaching, we found out that: (1) Students seldom use learning strategies in their oral English learning, which causes low learning efficiency in their oral English acquisition; (2) Oral English learning strategies training does have significant effects on high school students’ oral English learning. According to the analysis of the results, pedagogicai implications have been made for high school English teachers in their oral English teaching at the end of the paper.

摘要:近年来,英语学习策略受到了国内外学者的重视,在国内也引发了一系列关于英语口语学习策略方面的研究,但研究的对象过于集中,主要以大学生为研究对象,而且研究的方法过于单一,多为问卷调查与Oxford的SILL调查研究。本次实证研究的目的在于了解高中生英语口语学习策略的使用情况,以及口语学习策略对其在口语学习方面的影响。通过对问卷调查结果和实验教学前后进行的两次口语测试成绩的对比分析,得出了以下两个结论:(1)高中生在口语学习过程中很少使用口语学习策略,导致他们口语学习的效率低下;(2)英语口语学习策略的培训对高中生英语口语学习具有显著效果。对此,笔者对未来中学英语口语的教学提出了一些教学参考意见。
