Abstract:Cooperative learning is a method of creative and effective learning theory. When students adopt cooperative learning, they will have a clear personal responsibility to communicate and exchange ideas with each other in groups. It can encourage students to learn in an active way and help them to develop various abilities. Therefore, it is necessary to stimulate college students’ cooperative learning, especially in learning spoken English. As English is a communicative skill, only in cooperation can college students master it well. This thesis aims to analyze the current situation of college students’ cooperative learning, and to come up with some solutions to college students’ spoken English cooperative learning. The thesis proves that the cooperative learning method is really practical and useful to develop the Spoken English ability of the college students．Therefore，the thesis aims to stimulate teachers and students’ interests and tries to push the application of cooperative learning approach in colleges.

中文摘要:合作学习是以学习小组为基本单位，合作交流为基本特征，具有明确个人责任的活动，可以激发学生高度的学习动机，鼓励学生自主学习以增强各方面的能力。因此，很有必要激发大学生的合作学习，尤其是对英语口语而言，因为英语作为一种交流的技能，只有在合作交流的学习中方可最大限度地运用和掌握好英语口语。本文将从大学生合作学习入手，分析目前大学生合作学习英语的状况以及存在的一些问题，总结合作学习应注意的问题，证明合作学习确实是提高大学生英语口语能力的一种实用而有效的方式，并且期待合作学习在大学英语口语教学中更为广泛的应用。
