Abstract:Under the circumstance of foreign language learning in China, reading plays an irreplaceable role in English learning. Reading is language cognition process. It can enlarge and strengthen one’s vocabulary and one’s language senses. What’s more, reading can train one’s ability of thinking, comprehension ability, generalization and judgment. However, many Chinese students come across many obstacles in reading. These limit the improvement of their reading ability. These reading obstacles include: bad reading habits, psychological aspect, background knowledge and vocabulary, etc. On the basis of such obstacles, the author of this thesis has made a deep analysis and come out some relevant strategies. Moreover, if using the strategies flexibly, reading obstacles would be avoided. Key words: foreign language learning; language cognition process; obstacles; reading ability; strategies
摘要:在中国的外语学习环境中,阅读在英语学习中起着不可替代的重要作用。阅读的过程是对语言的认知过程,有助于扩大和巩固词汇量、丰富语言知识、提高运用语言的能力;阅读可以训练思维能力、理解能力、概括能力与判断能力。但是在阅读过程中,中国学生会碰到很多障碍,阻碍了阅读能力的提高。 这些障碍包括阅读习惯、心里因素、背景知识、词汇等。本文对这些情况做了深入的分析并提出了相对应的解决策略。如果能够灵活地运用阅读策略,阅读障碍是可以避免的。 关键词:外语学习; 语言认知过程; 障碍; 阅读能力; 策略 |
