Abstract: The study aims to investigate ways to cultivate reading ability of primary students. Along with the fast development of globalization and the new requirement of the New National English Curriculum Standards, English is more and more important to Chinese primary student. Reading ability plays a major role in learning English of primary student. For primary students, it can help them improve interests in English. However, in reality, many teachers and students pay little attention to cultivating reading ability in primary school. The paper analysis effective ways from three aspects: teachers, students, learning environment. The study also include the investigation in English reading classes in X school.

摘要：本文意在研究能够培养小学生阅读能力的发展。在全球化快速发展以及我国新颁布的《英语新课程标准》，在我国小学教育中英语变得越来越重要。在小学英语学习过程之中，阅读能力也至关重要。然而在现实生活中，很多的老师与学生并不重视小学生的阅读能力培养。笔者意在从老师，学生，学习环境三方面分析培养小学生阅读能力。本文也包括了一些方法在X小学中的研究。
