Abstract:The New Curriculum Standard (2000) reiterates: High School English Teaching should make the students’ basic knowledge stronger and develop their four basic language abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, with a special emphasis on the training of their reading ability, so that they can have a solid foundation for the further studies and for the use of English in the future. This paper mainly focuses on different methods of English reading teaching in middle school. It is argued that whether different methods will affect the English reading or not. The aim of this paper is to find: a) How many kinds of reading strategies are used widely in English reading teaching? b) Which method is more effective? This paper concludes that: a) Students show different levels of acceptances because of different teaching methods. b) Different teaching methods reflect many problems, so middle school should determine how to make teaching of reading effective Due to the limited space, the paper merely discusses methods of English reading, but the author still hopes that both teachers and students in high schools can benefit from it. 摘要:新课程标准(2000)再次重申:高级中学英语教学应进一步巩固基础知识,发展听、说、读、写的基本技能。侧重培养阅读能力,为学生继续学习,运用英语打好基础。 这篇文章关注中学阅读教学中所使用的不同的教学方法。文章讨论了不同教学方法对中学英语阅读教学的影响。这篇文章的主要目标是:(1)中学英语阅读教学主要采取哪些方法?(2)哪一种教学方法最有效?文章所得出的结论是:(1)学生对于不同教学方法接受程度不同。(2)不同的教学方法反映出许多问题,因此中学英语教学应确定如何才能有效的进行阅读教学。 由于调查的局限性,本论文只对英语阅读的方法做了调查。但作者仍希望能给高中师生在英语阅读的教学中带来一定的帮助。 关键词:英语阅读;教学方法;不同的接受程度 |
