Abstract: The tasks in the oral English class are very hard to accomplish which include transforming or advancing the English language ability into the communicative ability. To be fluent in the oral English, the learner needs to make effort and the teacher needs to offer appropriate strategies in the oral class. The paper aims to probe into the problems in the oral class and solutions to help more learners develop their oral communicative ability. The main problems in oral class include students’ lack of motivation, insufficient strategies, monotony of teaching forms, little practice, and unattractive content. The solutions are to create authentic atmosphere, encourage students to speak out, organize oral class in various forms and imitate the real communicative circumstances.

摘要：口语教学课堂上要将英语语言能力转化或提升为交际能力，任务非常艰巨。英语口语要达到流利的程度，不仅需要学习者在口语课上的努力，也需要教师在口语策略方面提供指导。本论文探究口语课中存在的问题及解决办法以帮助更多的学习者发展他们的英语口头交际能力。口语课上的主要问题有动力缺失、策略不足、教学方式单一、练习较少、内容乏味。解决办法是创设真实的情境， 鼓励学生发言，组织形式多样的口语教学活动。
