The moon is simply a nature object ,but ever since it came to the vison of our Chinese nation , it has become the indispensable part of our civilization , and became the semantide of poets to express certain feelings . As the different environments and mental situations those poets were living in , the image of “yue” has profound meanings and those meanings have already been absorbed in the blood of every Chinese people . In the west , however , moon poems are comparatively much less and rather became a common feeling . How to make sense of this cultural phenomenon ? It is obviously related to the Sino-western cultures . This paper will take yue in the poems as a breakthrough point , combining geographic , political and economic factors of both Sino-western cultures to analyze the difference briefly . The world nowadays has been undermined by old international political and economic order , thus lead to inequality among nations and misunderstandings among different cultures and ultimately bring harm to the entire human world .
