Abstract:The yearly-held National People’s Congress and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference serve as a good platform for representatives to join in and talk abut a series of political issues concerning people’s lives. It greatly contributes to the democracy, and enriches people’s political lives. It is also an important window to the whole world. The Press Conference, furthermore, provides an effective platform to introduce our new-yearly planning in developing to answer, remove the doubts, misunderstandings that other countries have in their minds. Previous studies on the issue mainly are in levels of the Interpretative theory, the phenomenon of cultural default, the theory of conciseness and dual context in interpreting process. However, the researches on the Translation Variation Theory are inadequate. This paper, based on former researches, discusses the interpreting methods from the perspective of Translation Variation Theory, and concludes that five common methods (combination, additon, depletion, transformation, edition) can greatly absorb the core information to make the communication greater, faster, better-qualified, economical. This paper will help to improve our interpreting level and deepen people’s cognition on the Translation Variation Theory.
