Abstract:With the frequentness of International Communication,cultivating students’ Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) becomes one of the most important objectives for English teaching. The understanding of cultural background knowledge of students has direct influenced on the development of language ability. Based on 200 students from Yongshan No.1 Middle School,this thesis investigates the present situation of ICC among Senior High School Students, and attempts to find out the factors which can influence these students’ ICC. Meanwhile, the article attempts to give some corresponding countermeasures for students to develop their ICC.
