Abstract:English writing is a form of language expression, while this form of expression is inseparable from thinking. The thinking effect of Chinese and English modes of thinking in English writing of high school students can’t be ignored. This article aims to analyze and survey the errors of high school students in English writing, explore whether the discrepancies of the Chinese and English modes of thinking have an effect on the senior high school students in English writing. It aims to improve high school students’ ability in English writing. This paper first uses questionnaire survey and interview method. It aims to explore whether the discrepancies of the Chinese and English modes of thinking have an effect on the senior high school students in English writing. Questionnaire objects are students, interview objects are teachers. Then the writer asks a few students to write an English writing and analyzes errors. It aims to explore the discrepancies of the Chinese and English modes of thinking how to affect English writing of high school students. A conclusion can be drawn that the discrepancies of the Chinese and English modes of thinking have effect on the students’ English writing from three aspects word,sentence and discourse. Based on analysis results, the author gives suggestions to students and teachers respectively.
