Abstract:Wuthering Heights earned a good reputation in the literature history of all over the world. Based on of the two Chinese versions of Yang Yi and Fang Ping, this paper, making use of the two versions Chinese translations of Yang Yi and Fang Ping, discusses will express a comparative study of the resemblance and the difference between them Yang’s and Fang’s versions. It will analyze based on language features to study and analyze the strengths and weakness of the two versions, from the aspects of lexicon and grammars. As a result, we will fully digest the difference in choosing words and taking advantage of technique between the two translators. Inspired from the study, we could conclude that the rule of language, as well as cultural phenomena, should be attached great significance to literature translation from English into Chinese. What’ more, showing respect to the satisfaction of readers is also another important factor when dealing with bilingual conversion. We shall, therefore, focus on two main principles: on the one hand, translation of vocabulary word should be paid more attention to express the meaning of original works, on the other, the difference, in grammas between target langue and source langue, should be concerned carefully in case we make strange mistakes and funny translations.
