Abstract
English textbook, as one of the key parts of English teaching, is the specific base of teacher teaching and students learning. A good textbook can help teachers organize teaching activities as well as help students study normally and systematically. This dissertation is written based on the study of English ( Six A) of Yilin Press and the author’s internship experience in Grade six in Tian Run Cheng Primary School in Nanjing from September to December. It mainly contains the introduction to English (Six A) of Yilin Press from structure to components and the analysis of the practical application of the textbook in Tian Run Cheng Primary School according to English Curriculum Standard. At the end of the paper, the author summarizes the strength and weakness of English (Six A) of Yilin Press and some suggestions are given to English teachers and compilers.
