Abstract
Games can promote children's development in cognition, emotion and social communication, which is of great value and significance for children's growth. Therefore, primary school English game teaching was widely used in primary school English class. Although, games can stimulate students' interest and set up the students' self-confidence, English classroom teaching pays more and more attention to cultivating students’ learning interest, but, the use of game teaching in class did not receive a satisfactory teaching effect and even played a backlash.
