Abstract

 

In recent years, the research and application of effective teaching method in the teaching of English is becoming increasingly widespread. In reality, the proper usage of teaching methods can play an important role in the teaching process. It sometimes can attain the result with half effort. In order to further explore the English teaching methods and practice from teaching and life. The paper researches on English teaching methods as a case study of my supervising teacher during my internship. In this paper, it takes my supervising teacher's school condition and her achievements as the background to introduces the rational use of the teaching skills in English teaching, the effective method to cultivate students' English learning interest and so on. Finally, based on the collected data and the analysis of the questionnaire, I put forward some practical suggestions to improve the primary school English teachers' teaching methods.
