Abstract
Human diet has improved with quality of life improvement and progress. Different cultural backgrounds lead to different attitudes towards diet, and there is a great difference in the food culture among the various ethnic groups. Diet is life, life is culture. This thesis describes the different food culture on the diet style, cooking method and dietary content. Chinese and Western food culture have its own strong points. Through intensive study, people can profoundly understand the cultural connotation.
