Abstract
Travel is a kind of cross-cultural communication. Tourism signs connect tourism resources with tourists together during international tourism. This paper analyzes the linguistic errors, cultural errors and communicative errors that exist in the public sign translation in Yancheng city and puts forward a few suggestions for its standardization which are the improvement of translator’s qualification, improvement of tourism criteria and improvement of government management .
