语言学在师范院校英语专业学生学习中的作用

The Contribution of Linguistics to Chinese English Majors from Normal University

摘  要

　　　针对师范院校英语专业学生不重视语言学课程的现象，本文旨在讨论语言学知识对英语学习的作用和启示。本文首先简略地讨论了英语专业学生不重视语言学课程的原因，然后以理论阐述和实例分析的方式证明了语言学在英语学习中所起的重要作用，希望以此来引起英语专业学生对这一学科的重视。

Abstract

　　　Facing the phenomenon that the English major students in normal university attach little importance to the course, linguistics, this article is intended to discuss the functions of linguistic knowledge and the insights it sheds on English learning. First, the present article gives a brief analysis why linguistics is ignored by English majors, then it, by theories and concrete examples, argues that linguistics is actually of great importance to English learning. The author is meant to lead linguistics to the concern of English major students in normal university.
