Abstract: According to the requirement of curriculum reform, interactive teaching method should be used flexibly and properly in middle school English teaching. The thesis analyses the relative elements of interactive teaching. Meanwhile, it explains the significance in putting the interactive method in place. Through observing two English classes, the author points out some problems that we should pay attention to in the process of interactive teaching and provides some effective methods to solve the problems in order to stimulate students’ learning interest and develop their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills all-around.
