Abstract:Entering 21st century, information technology, with multi-media technology and network technology as the core, is growing at a phenomenal rate into all areas of education, bringing out multi-media teaching and learning. The rapid development of multi-media teaching and learning not only supports advanced teaching methods and superior conditions in college English teaching, but also has made a tremendous impact on traditional teachers’ role. This paper aims at making reconstruction of teachers’ role more suitable to multi-media teaching and learning. Through the analysis of previous research, it is found out that it is necessary to reconstruct teachers’ role in the multi-media based college English teaching model. Reconstruction of teachers’ role is a good way to create a better learning environment, and also to improve the quality of college English teaching in China. 摘要:进入二十世纪以来,以多媒体技术和网络技术为核心的信息技术在教育的各个领域发展迅速,之后发展出了多媒体教学。多媒体教学在大学英语教学中的迅速发展不仅提供了先进的教学方法和优越的条件,还对传统的教师角色产生了很大的冲击。本文旨在使重构的教师角色更适应多媒体教学。通过对前人研究的分析,指出在多媒体大学英语教学模式下重构教师角色的必要性。教师角色重构是帮助教师和学生创设更好的学习环境的有效办法,对大学英语教学有重要的促进作用。 关键词:重构;多媒体教学;建构主义;教师角色;学生角色
