摘要：近年来，江苏省在吸引和利用外资方面取得了显著成效。自2003年起，江苏省吸引外商直接投资超过广州省，持续七年位居全国第一。从外资来源地来看，以亚洲国家和地区为主；从外资利用方式来看，以外商独资企业为主；从外资的行业投资流向来看，以制造业投资为主。而随着经济全球化进程的加快，如何利用外资推动江苏主要经济的进步和升级，是关系到全省乃至全国经济持续、稳定、健康和快速发展的课题。本文就江苏省利用外资的现状进行了详细的分析，具体阐述了利用外资对江苏省经济效应的促进作用和不利影响，并提出了江苏省提高利用外资效果的可行性对策和建议。

Abstract：In recent years, Jiangsu Province has achieved remarkable success in attracting and utilizing foreign investment. Since 2003, the amount of FDI in Jiangsu has become the largest all over the country for seven years. In conclusion, firstly foreign investment in Jiangsu mainly comes from Asian countries and regions; secondly the utilization is mainly foreign-owned enterprises; and thirdly flows of the industry investment are major in the manufacturing industry. As the process of economic globalization is speeding up, how to use FDI to promote the progress of Jiangsu's economy has become a project which is helpful to make the national economy to develop sustainably, stably, highly and rapidly. In this paper, through analyzing the present situation of utilizing foreign investment of Jiangsu Province, I give a detail about both the facilitation and adverse effects that the FDI makes on Jiangsu’s economic effects, and bring forward some feasible suggestions to create a better future.
