摘要：一部优秀的小说应该展现民族的风采,记录民族的苦难。古华先生的作品《芙蓉镇》荣获第一届茅盾文学奖，这部作品寓政治风云于风俗民情，借人物命运演乡镇生活变迁，塑造了一系列生动的人物形象，被称为“一曲严峻的乡村牧歌”。同时，在这部作品里，作者展现了人物性格与命运的关系，不同的人物有着不同的性格，由此也造成了他们不同的命运。这是对曾经发生在中国大陆的历史的反思，表现了对苦难的中国人民的深切同情。作品中的人物，如：芙蓉姐子胡玉音、北方大兵谷燕山、吊脚楼主王秋赦等都曾经在现实中出现过。过去的已经成为过去，我们无法再去改变什么，可以做的只是从历史中吸取教训，从历史人物的身上吸取人生经验。我们由此出发，总结出一套正确的为人处事的方法，一套符合多数人利益的方法。

Abstract：an excellent novel should show us the national disposition and record the misery of the country. Fu Rong Town, which was written by Gu Hua, gets the first Literary Prize of Mao Dun. this work connect politics with natinal atmosphere, mould  series of vivid characters by life vicissitudes of country people's desnity, which praised as 'a stern countyr pastoral'. In this novel, the author tells us that people's naturesconnect with their fates closely in the Great Cultural Revolution. Different people have different natures, for this reason, their fates are  surely different. Hence, we summarize a good way one conducts oneself in society which conforms to  the most intrestings.  this is the reflection about the history when took place in China continent, express the sympathize for misery chinese people. the characters in this works such as the son of sister Furong, northern soldier Gu Yanshan, boss of pendent buiding Wang Qiushe, all appered in realize. former had gone, we could not change anything but draw a lesson from the history, absorb life expierce from the histirical people. we proceed from this point, sum up a correct behaving method which accord with the interests of mostly people.
