教材内容分析

The unit being taught is Unit 4 from Book 1 of Go for it. This unit combines students' daily learning and living conditions, using the things around the house as the topic to talk about where the things are. Students need to use ‘Where questions’ , prepositions ‘on, in, under’ and conjunction ‘and’ . At the same time, it allows students to learn to clean up their room and keep tidy. The content is close to the actual life of the students, so they are supposed to be familiar with the teaching content and integrate into the classroom faster. Because the material comes from the student's personal life, students will have a desire to express. What’ s more, they will increase their interests, and accordingly improve learning efficiency. The where question、prepositions ‘on、in、under’ and conjunction ‘and’  are the focus of teaching. After studying this unit, students can use key words, phrases and target languages to talk about where things are. If the students can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this book. There are 3 classes in this unit.

 

单元教学目标

Knowledge objectives:

1. Students are able to use the words “table bed sofa… …”、prepositions “on in      under” and Where question to make sentence. Then they can describe their room or their classroom logically.

2. To be able to read correctly in pronunciation and intonation.

Ability objectives:

1. Students' listening and speaking abilities will be improved. They can express fluently.

2. Students can use the knowledge they learned to communicate or make a conversation.  Students know how to describe where the things are and learn to describe their tidy rooms logically and fluently.

Emotion objectives:

The daily dialogue will foster students’ awareness of good co-operation and learn to put everything in order.
